There are three major advantages for teams in today’s market.
Today, I’m here to talk to you about where there are opportunities for real estate teams in today’s changing market. When I look at opportunities, there are three areas for real estate teams to move forward.
The first one is retiring agents or agents getting out of the business. There are a lot of agents out there that will be getting out of the business in the next 18 to 24 months. As a real estate team, you can build relationships with those agents and take them and their database onto your team. If you have a robust nurture system for their database, you have now made their database your database, and you’ll be reaping the rewards for years to come.
The second area of opportunity is small teams. Small teams in today’s market will look up, and say, “I need more resources, leverage, benefits and leads.” I think there’s a massive opportunity for larger teams to work with smaller teams to bring them on and give them all of those resources that a smaller team doesn’t have but needs as they grow.

The third area of opportunity is newer agents that have had some success, but maybe their success is not long-term. There are a lot of agents that have gotten into the business over the last 18 to 24 months that have looked really good on social media and have looked really good because of the market. They don’t really have the fundamental skills to succeed in a changing market. They’re going to look up, and say, “I need a team.” Six or eight months ago, they didn’t want to have that conversation. We’re already starting to see those agents raising their hands, and saying, “Hey, I need your experience, skill set, and mindset, and I’m open to joining a team.”
Those are just three opportunities that we see happening in a changing market. If you have any questions or would like more information on any of these topics, please feel free to give me a call or send me an email. I’d love to help you out.
